Hey,

i am using ISA 2006 (Version: 5.0.5723.493). My Management needs to access DVR from Internet which is working perfectly fine inside the LAN.

I can access my DVR through http://192.168.7.1, gives me prompt for User/password and port 8000 is already defined there.

I have configured a Web Publishing Rule with following details

WEB PUBLISHING RULE
Action: ALLOW
From: ANYWHERE
To: 192.168.7.1
Traffic: HTTP
Public Name: All Request
Paths: SAME AS INTERNAL /*
Authentication Delegation: NO DELEGATION AND CLIENT CANNOT AUTHENTICATE DIRECTLY.
Application Setting: DISABLED
BRIDGING: WEBSERVER , REDIRECT REQUEST TO HTTP PORT (80)
Users: All Users

Listener:
Networks: EXTERNAL, INTERNAL
Port(HTTP): 8001
Port(HTTPS): DISABLED
Authentication: NO AUTHENTICATION
Always Authenticate: NO

Now after creating the Web Publishing rule, i can access my DVR Default page (http://115.0.x.x:8001) from the internet but when i try to login with the same credential which I used inside the organization than it gives me error

LOGIN FAILED

Any suggestion why I am getting this error or should I open some port for it.

ISA/TMG does not allow authentication by default over HTTP. You have to specifically enable that. You do NOT want the ISA/TMG to do any authentication, but you want it to allow the Client to authenticate directly to the DVR,...so read the choices in the dialog carefully.
