If both "Basic" and "Integrated" are checked in the Web Proxy tab, how will the IE or other web proxy client behave? Thanks.

They choose the more secure of the options specified, that the particular browser supports. All browsers (that I'm aware of) use the same logic.

The browser knows that Kerberos is more secure than NTLM (Integrated), which is more secure than Basic, which is more secure than Digest.

Kerberos doesn't work currently for Proxy Authentication in Internet Explorer - I just used it as an example of the hierarchy.
