We have isa installed on a win2k server, dhcp installed on nt 4 with sp6 and everyone is on the same subnet. Clients are having problems getting an ip address when they reboot with firewall client running. If we disable fire wall client before we shut down and then reboot it logs on with no problem. Is there a conflict with having a nt dhcp server or is there a filter we have to create?
We have tried putting in the LAT, but it doesn't fix the problem.
Should internal dhcp requests be going through the isa server?

Hi Oasis,

The internal DHCP requests should definitely *not* be going through the ISA Server. Do a packet trace from the DHCP server and see what shows up. Normally, the Firewall client doesn't have any effect on DHCP addresses assignment.
