Hi,

Is is possible to limit a group of users to only have access to www.hotmail.com, and nothing else. I have tried creating a rule for this purpose, but have had no joy. For this test session, Protocol, Site-and-Content and IP-Packet filters are all enabled to allow everything in/out. Then i created a Site-and-Content rule for a particular user to disable all Internet browsing except to hotmail. But the user cannot browse even Hotmail. I have even entered the URL the www.hotmail.com chnages to, but still nothing. Anyone "[Confused]" "[Confused]" have an idea?

Hi Michael,

Are you sure its www.hotmail.com or some other domain to which they are redirected? Check the Web Proxy log for details.

HTH,
Tom

What I have used with success is setting up a destionation set something like this.

*.hotmail.com
Path:
/*

Then setup a content rule using the destionation set.

If you have access to the internet via dial up or some other way besides going through ISA, try this.

Go to hotmail like you would normally do. ie. goto www.hotmail.com.

When I do this, I get redirected to various sites.

passport.com
msn.com
hotmail.com

It might be different for you, so you will need to check this out for yourself.
