Dear tshinder,

I've tried to open one of the port which is TCP Outbound 1214 but it looks like the Kazaa cannot connect to the respective server.
Are there anything that I have to do in order to make this Kazaa software works properly ????
Thanks a lot.

You need to create packet filter if you want to use application on iSA server itself.

New version of kazaa uses port 80 as an alternate if default port is blocked or not available. Kazaa is working fine for me at server.

Create packet filter at access policy/packet fiter. TCP / Outbound / Remote port:80
or TCP / Outbound / Remote Port:1214

Unfortunately you cannot block kazaa or allow it to specific users only because kazaa uses different port every time it connects. [Roll Eyes]

I created a protocol definition for kazaa
port 1214 tcp outbound and then created a rule allowing the protocol, and it worked just fine. I've been downloading for the last 24 hours without a hitch. I've read, a few others out there using filters instead, I recommend against using filters as that is not as secure.
