L's & G's,

both my client(s), isa server and iss server are on the same internal network segment (no firewalls) ...

clients are all configured to use the isa server without using the browser - bypass proxy server -configuration for the internal websites (this should remain) ...

the clients browsing to external websites should be authenticated (integrated authentication) by the isa server ...

the clients browsing to the website on the iis server should be authenticated (integrated authentication) by the iis server ...

in my current set-up (integrated authentication is enforced on both isa and iis server), still the initial response of the webserver is extremely slow (in the logs I see first a 401 error message, followed by a successful authenticated request for each consecutive request / frame / image to the internals iis server)

how do I get this to work correctly?

Hi Qwi,

Configure your internal sites for Direct Access. Check out my article on this subject over at www.isaserver.org/shinder
