I've enabled MMS and RTSP (client & server options) in my Launchcast Protocol Rule. My client has the FWC and are configured for the web proxy within IE. When I open a station at Launchcast, it just keeps looping between 'Connecting' and 'Opening.'

What Site and Content and Protocol Rules do you have that apply to this client?

S&C Rules:
allow all destinations, all times, all contents for internet group only

Protocol Rules:
Internet Acess: http, https, ftp, gopher for internet group only
Launchcast: allow always MMS, MMS Server, RTSP, RTSP Server for internet group only

The test user is in the Internet group.

I had this same problem since I force all users to authenticate for outbound access (as it appears you do as well, since you have an "internet group" defined). I had to uncheck the "forward all http requests to the web proxy service" on the http redirector filter, and allow connectivity based on the winsock/firewall client for streaming audio.

This is a MAJOR P.I.T.A , as it means users can bypass my websense content filter by simply removing the proxy settings from the browser (it can only log access from the web proxy).

It appears to be a problem with some sites streaming audio web pages setup of the backend stream. Maybe the order in which the request for the data channel is made?

What is really kicking my butt is that on our production ISA server -that I didn't build - (not my test server), LaunchCast works great. Looking at the rules, everything appears to be similar.

I guess I'll have to go through every little step to see what's different.
