I'm getting this message when I try to go in to Monitoring>Alerts either when at the ISA server itself or trying to access it remotely.

Any ideas?

In the proporties tab for Alerts, it shows I have allow permissions for Full Control and Read.

Ahhh, I persanely think it's a bug, but no one will confirm this. Tom was saying that is because you either have pcANYWHERE or Diskeeper installed. That's bull. I just built fresh w2k3 server with nothing on it, installed ISA and got that error. No PCA, no diskeeper, NOTHING was installed, just w2k3 and ISA. I hope MS fixes it soon

Installed PCAnywhere 10.0 host = error.

pcAnywhere 10.x is not compatible with Windows 2000 Internet Security Acceleration (ISA) Server

I tried uninstalling PCAnywhere, but I'm still getting the error.

Anybody else have any ideas?

Maybe try installing 11.0 over it?

Hi,
I did have the same monitoring > alerts > refresh failed error, and just today I found a nice fix that worked with my servers:

I figured out that this problem is due to dcom configuration and authentication level:
Run dcomcnfg.exe > applications tab > FPC class (1) and (2), properties, general tab > change authentication level from default to connection > alerts will work with local session as well as remote session. Im not sure if you can change this level back to default, but I think this is better workaround than reinstalling isaserver (that didnt work for me, had still the same error)

Let me know if this helps you! [Cool]
