We are trying to access an external site which contains java applets/imaging.

When we use ISa a weird java login box appears and will not allow us to proceed. When we bypass the ISA server the java element works ok.

Anyone had similar problems with ISA "[Razz]" blocking Java?

Still trying to find a solution to this but how did you bypass it?

I work in a school which uses windows 98SE computers but my machine is WinXP and is causing me severe grief with JAVA. If I could alter authentication just for myself I would but I don't kow how.

Hi,

Still no joy for us!

We bypassed ISA by allowing the PC to have access through the firewall to the ISP's DNS servers. Normally only the ISA server has this and pc's run via ISA. This then worked ok proving that the problem was with ISA server

The only problem I've had relating to this is when using the Sun Java runtime, and having ISA configured to require authentication, you will be prompted by the Java runtime for credentials. Once you enter a valid user name and password all is good.
