I am working in a large govt education network running ISA 2000 Enterprise arrays. Have had no luck with receiving updates for Macs normally. The only way has been to view the logs for *.akamai.* website relating to specific updates. Add these sites into a destination set, create a rule to bypass the cache for these sites. It is a built-in feature of the certain version of Mac not to work with ISA proxy servers - confirmed by a Mac regional manager
