A client of mine is using ISA Server 2000 Svc Pack 1, running on Windows 2000 Svc Pack 4 for proxying. They claim they are not using caching.

When using a hosted application requiring login, salesforce.com, the logged in user appears to switch occasionally. The users do not share computers but hitting refresh on the browser will get them back to their user. I've seen this behavior when you use a public computer. Since they are not sharing computers I am wondering if there is any way the proxy could be causing this problem.

I did find the following fix included in Svc Pack 2:

Wonder if this could cause the behavior we are seeing?

If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thank you,

I doubt highly this could be cookies causing youtr problem as cookies are stores ON the client. However, perhaps the problem may be the site not requesting cookies properly.

The simplest solution is set up a direct access rule for this site... no caching takes place hence no possibility of incorrect user!
