Does anyone know if URL rules will be enforced if a client machine uses the firewall client and DOES NOT enable the proxy in their browser?

Also, is there any other advantage of specifying a web proxy as opposed to using just the firewall client?

Hi Jason,

Yes, but default the Web Proxy filter is bound to the HTTP protocol, so the Firewall client fully benefits from the HTTP security filter.

HTH,
Tom

Will entries show up in the w3proxy log if only the firewall client is used? Or will it only show up in the firewall log?
