I wish to publish Exchange and other servers with my ISA 2004 Enterprise array. My network admins are forcing me to install ISA on the DMZ between two PIX firewalls. Problem is, they can't give me two networks--only the one DMZ network.

Anyone have a good way to configure ISA that sits between two hardware firewalls with only one network reachable?

Tom,

Where are the other parts? :)

Now I got me boss (Microsoft side of the house) calling ISA a POC and degrading isaserver.org (calls everything on this site just marketing for its own material).

He doesn't believe you can be unbiased about this - I see that as the kettle calling the pot black, though.

He firmly believes that software-based firewall suck, and on top of Windows, suck even worse.  He keeps on implying hardware-based firewalls will always be better.

I don't buy that myself - firewalls will fit different requirements.  But, he's to the point where he will do anything he possibly can to make sure he doesn't have to use ISA, regardless of how it might be a better fit since everything we do is Exchange based with a lot of RPC/HTTPS.

It's like he's been brainwashed by the old networking dogma.
