What protocols does it use?

Thanks!

Hi Tom,
It's TCP,and the default port range is 8881 to 8999.

Hi Xinjia,

Are these all primary connections? Are there any secondary connections?

If they are all primary connections, you can create a Protocol Definition defining the entire range for the primary connection.

Tom

Thank you, tom
I have tried but failed.
Should I do it by publishing a server or creating an access rule?
Have you completed successful?

Hi Xinjia,

It sounds like you need to call the vendor to find out what ports are used, which ones are primary connections, and which ones are secondary connections.

HTH,
Tom

Hi ,

BT ( BitTorrent ) is a P2P program
By default, BitTorrent listens on port 6881, trying incrementially higher ports if it's unable to bind, and gives up after 6889 (the port range is configurable).

looks like you got your ports confused. If you manually changed the 6881 into 8881 then there's no guarantee other BT clients can connect to your server.

Follow Tom's advise on publishin FTP sites , it should work for publishing BT sites also.

And try to use the default ports [Smile]
