Hi Tom,

I have my secureNAT clients working. Yet when I change the users to authenticated ones, the clients can not access.

Here are the few things I did. The clients station is an NT workstation.I made the clients computer a member of the domain and the client too. However, they could not access. I have installeda firewall client on the clients computer.

If I change the users to all users, it work but if I change the users in the ISA as authenticated users I got the problem.

Will I install an active directory on my ISA? Sometime it did work and keep on showing authentication page everytime I open a web page.

Any ideas

Neo

Hi Neo,

Is the ISA firewall a member of the domain? It must be a member of the domain if you wish to use the Firewall client to authenticate users' outbound connections.

HTH,
Tom

- Can ISA query your AD for universal groups ? ( basic AD connectivity )
- what user shows up in the monitoring panel ?
- did you set the option that clients with older firewall clients can't connect to the isa ?
- are the clients member of the domain admin group ? ( if not , try as a domain admin )

kind regards,
LexP

Hi Lex,

I think he's connecting the ISA firewall to an NT directory.

Thanks!
Tom
