fsing1980 -> ISA behind an existing network and pick user out (11.Mar.2004 10:51:00 PM)

Hi,

My ISA2004 server is hooked up onto an existing network, but right now I need to connect a few access points to this existing network, and somehow let ISA control the traffic of these access points (as well as the laptops behind them). How do I setup the network so that the traffic from the access points will go thru ISA 2004 for authentication? Thanks a lot to whoever tries to help me out.. I am crying.

Frankie

Hi Frankie,

If you go into the Exchange publishing section, you'll see a post I made regarding getting the FE/BE Exchange to work with the FE in the DMZ. That config file has the ARs required to join a domain from another network, as well as long on (and some Exchange stuff too). You can import that file into your test machine to see what the rules look like.

I checked out the exchange publishing session, and I have problem locating the article and the file u mentioned. Can you also tell me the link exactly? Also, I won't be using an Exchange server, will that be alright?

Thanks a lot

Hi Frankie,

Check this out:

Here's my config file for the FE/BE Exchange Config with the Exchange FE in the DMZ. There is a route relationship between Internal and DMZ networks.
