Hello,

We are trying to get two ISA2004's to ROUTE (not NAT) traffic from perimeter to internal, while they are in a cluster. Actually two teamed clusters, one on the perimeter side en an d one on the internal side. Is this at all possible, of so, how?

Hi jopperdepop,

NLB isn't officially supported on SE, so you might be running into one of the unsupported scenarios. Check out RainWall if you need a good NLB app.

HTH,
Tom

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the fast reply. I don't want to buy another product. I'm waiting for ISA2004 EE, but in the mean time, it would be a shame to have the HW for the redundant ISA doing nothing. So, is it possible, routing with NLB?

According to my tests, NLB on the server side (of ISA) works ok while the ISA is in routing mode. When we add NLB to the client side of the ISA servers it stops working...

Cheers,
Jop
