Hi Bull,

Create Access Rules that allow NetBIOS and Direct Host protocols and make sure you're WINS infrastructure is in place.

HTH,
Tom

I only use dns, my clients resolve the perimeter server name.
When i use secure nat client, my users on the internal network can map the network share that is in the server in perimeter network.
But when i install the firewall client and remove the default gateway from the tcp/ip properties in my interanal network clients they canŠt no longer map the network share on the perimeter network.

What i want to know is when i use firewall client to access a share in perimeter network i have to use a default gateway in tcp/ip properties.

thanks

I think this might help.
I have configure a access rule to allow all protocols to the perimeter network.
I watch the isa 2004 server log and i found that when i as trying to access to share on the perimeter network using the firewall client software, the client machine try to access using the web proxy service and uses the http protocol.
I think this is the problem how can i fix this?

Thanks very much

Hi Tom,

Out of interest - why do you need to use WINS in this scenario?

Cheers,

Leon.
