Hi,

Do our network users need to have both the proxy in IE and also the firewall client installed?

What are the benefits of having only a proxy address in IE?
And will I lose something if they only have the firewall client installed?

I would like to have as much flexibility to control users and having both (the proxy in IE and the firewall client) seems to make the internet connection a bit slower.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Kotel,

The Web Proxy and Firewall client configs should make the connections faster, as the SecureNAT client config has the lowest performance. Check your DNS config.

HTH,
Tom

Speed is not the real issue, the question is if i need to have both installed or not?

Will the firewall client do the job that the proxy in IE dose?
