Hi all, my current setup consists of a managed solution from AT&T (Packet filtering) and then my ISA 2004 firewall. I've asked AT&T to open port TCP 1723 to my ISA box, but I still cannot VPN in (won't authenticate). Is there a list of Ports (UDP and TCP) that the front firewall should have open to my ISA box? What are they?

Same with L2TP - what ports need to be forwarded?

Thanks much!

Hi Tim,

For PPTP, they also need to allow inbound GRE.

For L2TP/IPSec, they need to allow inbound UDP 500, UDP 4500 and UDP 1701.

HTH,
Tom
