Access Rule for VPN to Internal?

this seems odd to me: in order to get access via VPN to internal net I had to create a new access rule (VPN to Internal) to allow this.
I thought that the Standard Network Rule (VPN Client to Internal - Route) should enable this already.
Do I misunderstand?

Its not odd at all. Secure by design, secure by default.
