sfaryu -> VPN Client can't ping Internal network server (12.Apr.2005 12:41:00 AM)

Hi,

Just got my VPN up and running ISA2004 w/SP1. Everything got connected and an IP was leased from a static pool of IP addresses. Once the VPN client got connected from the Internet to ISA2004, I tried to ping a server on the Internal network, but FAILED!

I check the Network access rule and it allows VPN client into the Internal network.

Here's my config;

Internal network: 192.168.2.1 - 192.168.2.220
VPN Client static leased IPs: 192.168.2.225 - 192.168.2.230

Server on the internal network: 192.168.2.138

I can't ping the 192.168.2.138 once I got the VPN client connected.

Did an IPCONFIG on the VPN Client and the leased IP was valid. It has IP of 192.168.2.226

Any ideas?

TIA

Tom

Hi Tom,

do you have an access rule allowing ping from the VPN client network to the Internal network?
What is the ISA log telling you?

HTH,
