I CONNECTED TWO ISA2004 SERVER BY USING PPTP.
All functions are properly in day time while user is using it.
But the connection will be dropped without re-dial after one night.
I just see "connecting" status in the demand-dial interface at branch office.
What's happen?
Thank you!

I cannot see any error message in event viewer and also when I try to open the RRAS, the application hang message appears in event viewer!
It must be Microsoft RRAS bug, shit! What Microsoft problem always has bug in critical system!

I tried to restart the RRAS service but it cannot restart the service as it states that no response from this service.
I tried to restart the computer but the Windows stay in the screen of "saving setting". The Windows cannot be restarted and I need to power off my server.

Hi Vincent,

All these problems indicate a configuration error somewhere in either the Windows config or the ISA firewall config, or perhaps the ISA firewall's interfaces config.

HTH,
Tom

Thank you for your reply!
In fact, I found that there is conflicts between RRAS and ISA2004.
The setting is non-consistency!

Vincent...I have the exact same problems with my server, I have gone over and over the configs and I can't find where my problem lies. Whenever my branch office Internet "burps" the connection goes down and I end up having to reboot my server or if it does come back up I have lost some of my routes to back-end networks. It's becoming very frustrating, especially since the PIX w/VPN I have at another office never goes down!
