VPN client and server same ip - 9.Jul.2005 11:45:00 AM

Hi,

Just got my VPN up and running ISA2004 w/SP1. Everything got connected and an IP was leased from a static pool of IP addresses. Once the VPN client got connected from the Internet to ISA2004, I tried to ping or TS session a server on the Internal network, but FAILED!

I check the Network access rule and it allows VPN client into the Internal network. Is OK

Here's my config;

Internal network: 192.168.0.10 - 192.168.0.200

VPN Client static leased IPs : 192.168.0.225 - 192.168.0.240

Server on the internal network: 192.168.0.5

I can't ping the 192.168.0.5 once I got the VPN client connected.

Did an IPCONFIG on the VPN Client and the leased IP was valid. It has IP of 192.168.0.226

the ip of vpn client and VPN server is same net ,192.168.0.x

Any ideas

Josep

Can you ping and TS to the server from behind ISA?

Have you enabled TS and ICMP on the server you are trying to connect to?

Do you allow routing from the VPN server to your local LAN?

Do you have Network Rule routing between VPN client Network and Internal Network?

Do you have an firewall access rule allowing VPN clients to access internal network?

Everything works ok when the ip VPN client is unlike 192.168.0.xxx,

with 192.168.1.xxx all works very ok.

The problem is when ip local VPN client is in range 192.168.0.xxx
