Hello all,

I'm trying to post the Summary reports from ISA 2004 standard ed to our internal intranet page or at least put a link on there to display the daily summary. I am having problems doing this as the published report folder name changes every day as follows...

Daily Summary_(6.7.2005-6.7.2005)

How can i get the reports to publish into a folder just entitled 'daily summary' with no date info on the end? This would then enable me to put a link on our intranet to the published location such as...

\\intranetserver\ISAreports\dailysummary.htm

Thanks in advance

Regards

Dave

As far as I know, there is no way of making them not in a folder. I too have them in our intrnet, but I just enumerate all sub folders. This is written in ASP.net

code:

sub Getwebreports()
Dim dataSet As System.Data.DataSet = New System.Data.DataSet
Dim dirInfo as New DirectoryInfo("E:\Intranet\admin\ISAreports")
dim dt as new datatable
Dim myDataColumn As DataColumn
Dim myDataRow As DataRow

' Create first column.
myDataColumn = New DataColumn
myDataColumn.DataType = System.Type.GetType("System.String")
myDataColumn.ColumnName = "Name"
myDataColumn.AutoIncrement = False
myDataColumn.ReadOnly = False
myDataColumn.Unique = False
dt.Columns.Add(myDataColumn)
' Create second column.
myDataColumn = New DataColumn
myDataColumn.DataType = System.Type.GetType("System.DateTime")
myDataColumn.ColumnName = "CreationTime"
myDataColumn.AutoIncrement = False
myDataColumn.ReadOnly = False
myDataColumn.Unique = False
dt.Columns.Add(myDataColumn)

Dim fsi As directoryInfo
' loop through our array of FileSysteminfo objects
For Each fsi In dirInfo.Getdirectories()
try
myDataRow = dt.NewRow()
myDataRow("Name") = fsi.Name
myDataRow("CreationTime") = fsi.CreationTime
dt.rows.Insertat(myDataRow,dt.rows.count)
catch ex as exception
end try
next
Dim DV As DataView = New DataView(dt)
dv.sort = "CreationTime DESC"
datagrid2.datasource=DV
datagrid2.databind()
end sub

<asp:DataGrid id="DataGrid2" runat="server" AutoGenerateColumns="False" Font-Size="Small" Font-Names="Arial" AllowSorting="True" AllowPaging="True" OnPageIndexChanged="dg2Page" width=100%>
<Columns>
<asp:TemplateColumn HeaderText="Report">
<HeaderStyle width="100px"></HeaderStyle>
<ItemTemplate>
<a href="/admin/isareports/<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "Name") %>/report.htm" class="normaltext"><%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "Name") %></a>
</ItemTemplate>
</asp:TemplateColumn>
<asp:TemplateColumn SortExpression="destination" HeaderText="Generated">
<HeaderStyle width="150px"></HeaderStyle>
<ItemTemplate>
<asp:Label id="path" runat="server" class="normaltext" text='<%# format(DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "CreationTime"),"MMM dd, yyyy") %>' />
</ItemTemplate>
</asp:TemplateColumn>
</Columns>
</asp:DataGrid>
