Hello all.

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the value that ISA Server puts in the HTTP Header field, HTTP_VIA?

By Default, it seems that it puts the NetBIOS name of the server in, preceeded by a order number (1.0, 1.1, etc).

Is it possible to change this? That is, without the obvious solution of changing the NetBIOS name of the server!

Maybe through a Registry hack? If so, what parameters need to be changed?

Any guidance on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

YoY

UPDATE

You need to put the FQDN of the server in the Headers section of the "configure HTTP" for the access rule that allows web proxying.

This solves the "proxy loop" issue, when servers have the same NetBIOS name.

For an explanation of this, please see other posts.
