Hi there,

One of my network users uses some download manager to download large amounts of data. He does need that data and I cannot stop him from doing that all-together. But the problem is that when he downloads other users cannot even browse the web. I placed this user's machine in the lowest category of "Bandwidth Rules" (lower than even default- giving him 50/50 for inbound and outbound bandwidth) but still his downloads slow down the internet "[Frown]" . Any help will be much appreciated.

maybe some kind of QoS would help.

im not good at isa2004 yet (in the process of learning it)

try bandwidth controller. download it from HERE . I'm sure you will like it and it integrates with ISA as well

You might also like to try a program called NetLimiter. Its decent, but unfortunately its all client side, not server side.
