Status: offline 		We have uploaded a BETA version of GFI WebMonitor 2.0 -> our soon to be released update of our popular ISA Server freeware tool.

Some features include:

+ Monitoring web and FTP browsing real time

+ Monitoring most active users, with URL history and user activity

+ Monitoring most accessed URLs

+ Ability to Block web access/downloads in progress

+ Native integration with ISA Server 2000 and 2004

+ Web-based interface enables viewing from anywhere in the network

Download and test GFI WebMonitor 2.0 from ftp://ftp.gfi.com/beta/WebMon2.exe.

I installed the GFI Webmonitor2 on ISA 2004 Beta Build 4.0.1872.0, but the GFI web filter is not on the ISA server and the http://monitor.isa doesn't open. What could the problem be? I'll be greatful for any help.

You need to install it on the ISA firewall machine because its a Web fiter add on.

Thanks for your reply. It's amazing how you are able to answer all the questions posted to you.
I installed the web filter on the ISA machine itself. No matter what i did it doesn't show up in the web filter panel. And of course i couldn't open the interface. Maybe there is something i'm missing? Thanks once again.

 The GFI WebMonitor web filter is not compatible with the beta copies of ISA 2004 only the release candidates. This is covered in the GFI support forums.

Your build is Build 4.0.1872.0 which is Beta 2.

You will need to upgrade to the Release Candidate of ISA 2004 or the RTM when it is released.

Status: offline 		Hi David, I couldny download the beta for webmonitor 2 from this link. I downloaded 1.39 MB twice but the file is not an executable or zipped file???? Am I doing something wrong?

ftp://ftp.gfisoftware.com/temp/netmon/WebMonitor3.exe
but soon there will be public beta available from www.gfi.com directly.
On ISA2004 it see&blocks all http clients(SNAT/firewall/proxy clients)
Gfi WebMonitor3 is freeware with features available in GfiWebMonitor2 + added paid feature which u can decide to use if you like (web site category blocking based on ISS database evaluation feature for 30 days)

P.S.: sorry for delay ...it would be good idea to implement for this forum feature "send email if somebody replies"

Status: offline 		Any body tried webmonitor 3 beta. Any major changes. I think it have ability to block sites on keyword based, Am I right.
