I'm not sure this is surfcontrol or an isa issue but why do I get some users logged as friendly name,some as netbiosdomainname\username and some as FQDN\username.It seems to be totaly random and there are a lot of duplications.Its annoying as they all count as surfcontrol users for licencing.

*Is there duplicate names for some pc's???
*Did you have friendly names unchecked before hand?

thanks ips are all static,machines are all unique names and I'm sure I turned friendly names on when installing but I can't remember where I even set the option now,I was a bit suspicious that it has something to do with the problem

You can enable that option located on the surf service icon bottom right on task bar.Right click service then select configure web filter service, then go into advanced and you will see the option you want there. [Wink]
