goto extensions/http filter/select "send to requested web server".
Tell me if it helps. [Wink]

Tried this.

Did not work.
My URL is: http://www.omroep.nl/radio1/live20.asx

I try to connect but WMP says the server did not reply in a timely fashion.

Normally i do not have the HTTP filter enabled, nor the proxy. So i think it should have worked already.

But i tried your settings and it still did not work.

Anyone any other ideas what might be the cause? (WMP changed since this thread started maybe?)

Cheers! [Big Grin]

I just been into Media Player options menu / NETWORK

It has entries for protocols:
multicast
UDP (Can specify port range)
TCP
HTTP

Proxy settings for HTTP: (Takes it from browser)
and MMS: Has (No proxy enabled)
but the mms has a reference to port 1755 also.

I tried disabling every protocol except HTTP.
But that did not work.
Presumably they multi/broadcast over UDP.

Shall start some capturing of packets.. [Frown]

Meanwhile if anyone knows the solution let me know please.

Thank you [Big Grin]

http://www.isaserver.org/authors/magalhaes/tutorials/streaming_media_available_internal_clients.htm

look there.

Helped me out.

Apparently it was as simple as enabling MMS in the protocol definitions.

Cheers!

The page has been moved to http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/Making_streaming_media_available_to_internal_ISA_clients.html

but there is what looks to be a vital image missing? I cannot get this to work at all
