Hi,
I am currently using ISA SP1 in cache only mode and require the IE6 SP1 clients to automatically pick up and use the ISA server as their proxy server.

I have entered the wpad information in DHCP, all in lower-case (i noticed there are technet articles on this about case sensitivity) and enabled auto-discovery on the ISA array.

I have also confirmed that the wpad.dat file is there and can open it by putting the path into the browser.

My issue is - nothing happens! no configuration of IE takes place.

It is not clear to me if this only works if you have the proxy client installed or not - if someone could please point this out - it would be much appreciated.
