Yup ,

It really surprised me that ISA2004 doesn't include bandwidth control on a user base.
I know of the bandwidth control in ISA now , but it is just a way of 'prioritizing' network traffic.
I would like to say : Users in the group 'students' are only allowed 15Kb/s download and 4Kb/s upload. In addition , I would like to give those pupils a maximum of 50 MB per month.

Kind regards,
Lex Penrose

Take a look the TrafficQuota (www.digirain.com), it allows to restrict traffic. Also the "true" bandwidth control will be implemented in a couple of month (this spring).

Hi ,

Thanks for the reply. I was aware of DigiRain products , but I didn't know that they were working on active bandwidth control module for ISA 2004.
Thanks I will keep a look at their site.

Hi all,
Is there a future inside ISA 2004 for Controlling bandwidth? (not an SDK?)
PS: As I have read the digirain website, the product is just for quata management, not online bandwidth management. Am I write?
Tnx
