I am about to install ISA 2004 and would like to know how to access the routers web config pages from the server when attached to the external nic.
We currently use SBS2000 and have never been able to access the router web config without using the routers switch and a laptop.
Am I being stupid

Hi Marko,
I'm moving this to the SBS section.
Thanks! Tom

Hi Marko,
No problem getting to the routers config page with either ISA2k or the new ISA firewall.
However, the problem might be IE, not the firewall.
I find that IE doesn't want to work with many router config pages -- when I switch to Opera, it always works.
HTH, Tom

In IE under Tools >Internet Options > Advanced, look for the "Http 1.1 Settings" area and check "use Http 1.1 through proxy conncetions"

Hi Andy,
Great tip! I always do that and its the single best way to improve performance.
However, I haven't found it to be a good way to get IE to work with router pages.
Thanks! Tom
