Hi,

I setup a "web shared" folder on IIS behind ISA and can browse to it using IE but can't use Tools->Map Network Drive->Create a shortcut to a Web folder or a FTP Site. Is there something easy I'm missing or is this a common problem? I'm just starting to dig into this. Hopefully this is understandable.

Thanks,
Bill

Thanks Dr. Tom! I am digging through your books which are excellent BTW.

I have my setup under VMware 4:

W2K Pro. Host
1st VM - W2K3 Server SE running ISA Server 2K
2nd VM - W2K3 Server SE as web server with WebDAV enabled on C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VSS folder so developers can use VSS to check code in and out of.

When I use an external client to map a web folder it works to the VSS folder but I cannot access any of the sub-folders. The response when I navigate to a sub-folder is "Documents in this folder are not available. The folder may have been moved or deleted, or network problems may be preventing a connection to the server." I got a feeling this might be a Microsoft problem since they refer to something like it in kb article 316097.

I guess I can use FTP but am wondering if there is an easier way to share the VSS folder and its sub-folders via ISA in my setup. I'll start digging throught the books.

Thanks,
Bill
