jinkostas -> Mail Server DNS???? (11.Mar.2002 9:17:00 AM)

Hi

I have succesfully published my Mail Server behind ISA Server but i have a small problem...

THE Domain that the computers are in is called
"domain.intra"
When the mail server send a message if you look at the source of the mail you will see this
"(SMTPRS 4.5.186) with ESMTP id <B0000213402@dcath-mx-01.domain.intra> for <pjin@forthnet.gr>"

if you look you can see the internal name of the mail server "dcath-mx-01.domain.intra"
how can this be avoided????

Thanks

Hi Jinkostas,

You can configure an alternate name on the SMTP service properties dialog box.

HTH,
Tom
