When I tried adding any server publishing rule, I get the error message "There are currently no external IP addresses available. If you are using a dial-up entry as your primary external connection, please ensure that the connection active and re-run this wizard".
I am not using a dial up connestion nor did I configure any dial up entries. I can also see that my external NIC is enabled and it can ping the router it connects to. I am also sure that I have external IP addresses configured because I can publish web sites. I tried unbinding and rebinding the IP address to no avail.
Thanks for your reply. I looked at my LAT and I did not find any of the external IPs. The only IPs there are that of my internal network and DMZ. It was working before but this happened after I followed both documents on securing ISA (part 1 and 2) I got from your website. I actually have several Server Publishing Rules already there but they are now all gone. I was wondering if there is a setting in the Securing ISA document that disables server publishing?
your DMZ IP's should *not* be in the LAT! Remember that a DMZ interface (I suppose you have a tri-homed setup) should be considered as another external interface with limited functionality.
