Hi all, with ISA server 2000 we configured outgoing UDP 5060 (send receive) and inbound 5061 (receive send). Communication takes place correctly except for the fact that ISA seems to be changing the content of the SIP message, replacing the IP address of message in the VIA headers (not the header of the packet) with it's public interface IP address (192.168.2.2). Here is the SIP message: <<<<<< INCOMING SIP MESSAGE <<<<<< SIP/2.0 100 Trying Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 192.168.2.2:5061;branch=z9hG4bK3323D2E8;received=192.168.2.2;rport=5061 From: <sip:lanarog@squillo.it;user=phone> To:<sip:lanarog@squillo.it;user=phone>;tag=as799ac071 Call-ID: 8110D22E@83.103.62.1 CSeq: 1 REGISTER User-Agent: Asterisk PBX Allow: INVITE, ACK, CANCEL, OPTIONS, BYE, REFER Contact: <sip:lanarog@194.177.124.179> Content-Length: 0 Any ideo on how to prevent ISA in doing that (if we connect the VOIP client between isa and router everyiting goes fine) Configuration is as follows: Router: public IP 83.103.62.1 private IP: 192.168.2.1 ISA public interface IP 192.168.2.2 private interface 172.16.18.1 [ April 15, 2005, 10:53 AM: Message edited by: Giovanni Lanaro ]

I better previse my question: ISA should change IP hader information for natting, but should not alter the protocol content for a custom protocol such as UDP 5060/5061. Isn't it ?

I've got same problem. It seems ISA is changing IP header of UDP packets. The check phase over SIP messagges rejects packets because they have an IP different from expected. I'm using Voispeed PBX ( voispeed.com ) Is it possibile to workaround this problem ? Alessandrowww.DSD.it
