any one can help??
the reason why i can't delete the external IP is, my current IP setting like this
External IP:192.168.0.2
External Gateway: 192.168.0.1(which is symantec firewall, hardware)
Internal IP: 192.168.68.1
Now my case is both IP are in ISA LAT, i cannot delete 192.168.0.1 this IP, because if i delete it, client computer cannot go Internet, and cannot recognise the DNS. What other solution to fix that FTP problem???

Hi erica,

your ISA configuration seems not right to me. The LAT should *only* contain the internal LAN, surely not the external one!

I suppose your configuration is something like:
internal LAN --- ISA --- Symantec --- Internet

This is perfectly possible. First you"ll have to fix your basic ISA setup. Check out http://www.isaserver.org/pages/learning_zone.asp .

hi stefaan,
what will be wrong of my isa setting, i can get it done in another ISA that i setting, i exclude the external LAT in another ISA, it works. but for this ISA, once i delete the external LAT, the ISA server itself and the client computers cannot go to Internet, and the DNS also not work. What i might be mistaken in the isa setting??

Hi erica,

in order to give external users access to internal resources, you need to web or server publish those resources. For more info, check out the ISA Help file and http://www.isaserver.org/pages/learning_zone.asp .

BTW --- I highly recommed Tom's book http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1928994296/isaserver/ . It is a must buy and read! [Big Grin]

under your advanced settings uncheck enable folder view for FTP sites and give that a try.
