Dear all ...

I need to control the access to the Internet by computer name rather than by IP address .I have some 250+ clients connected to the Internet . They all have DHCP IP addressing enabled .

I could do this using the user names but they will keep on sharing their user names ( this is a university ) .

Any idea on how to assign a fixed time quota to each account ?

Best regards

I need to do the same. I have about 250 users and only about half need internet access. I’ve tried to set policies at the enterprise level to allow only a group of users in AD and then I’ve tried on to only deny users but nothing seems to be working for me. I do not have the firewall client or proxy client set up on all the computers yet because I’m still testing this before we roll it out. Any thoughts as to what I need to do… By the way I have the book is there something that I’m missing… Also is there a way to run the web usage reports by computer name rather than the IP addy.
