Dear all,

I am very new in this ISA things, and I am facing a problem with all the users at my office which is always using all kind of chatting applications to chat with others, so end up our system is being attacked by all kind of virus.
My question is can anybody help me to set up a firewall to block Yahoo Messenger, ICQ (all kind of versions), IRC, MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messaging.

Dear tshinder,

I've read all the contents of the article that you've given to me and it's good but then when I've tried to follow all the steps, it seems that this firewall client not even can block all those chatting app., I still can run my yahoo messenger, hotmail messenger and ICQ Lite applications.
Is there anything wrong with all the steps ????

Hi QS,

Check out the Firewall logs to determine which Rules are allowing the applications outbound access and then remove or change those rules.
