Hello all this is my first post in the forum.

My question is, we have recently added the firewall client to all out PC's here in the office. Some of us need to VPN into our client's computers and use terminal services. Problem is when we have the Firewall client Enabled, i can not use Termnial Services. If i disable the Firewall client it works with no problems.

There is probally a real easy fix to this, just need some help to point me in the right direction.

Let me know if there is any other information that you require from me.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there. I have the same problem. Create a local
LAT called locallat.txt on the FWclients workstation and excluding networks which you are trying to connect to.
The firewall client first reads the locallat.txt and then the LAT which is downloaded by the client called Msplat.txt.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Heath

Hey guys,

if you have a gateway-to-gateway VPN setup, then you have joined effectively two networks into one big routed network. Therefore, you should put the network ID's reachable through the VPN tunnel in the LAT on the ISA server. Using the local LAT is *not* the appropriate method in this situation.

HTH,
Stefaan

spouseele,

Thanks again..

I knew the answer was fairly easy. I did not even try ther Local LAT stuff.. that just sounded like it was pointing me in the wrong direction.

Thanks again
