Sorry guys it was one of those days. As of about a week ago a lot of client machines have had the firewall client status go from Connected to FIREWALLNAME to Configured for FIREWALLNAME. Ive tried reinstalling, refreshing and i can not get them to say Connected to.. instead of Configured for. My machine is one of the ones that does say Connected to.. , however at bootup it does say configured for... and then a few seconds later the icon changes and goes to connected to. I was wondering if anyone has had any of these issues.
As long as you don't see a red arrow, you're in good shape. You don't need to see the green arrow all the time, just when the Firewall client is in use.

so what your saying is if i installed an application (ie lotus notes) then once the request is made the client will connect and i will get the green arrow?
You can test this by running the FTP client from the command line. Since the FTP client must use Winsock when using the command line application, you'll see the green arrow appear.
