Is there a way to enable/disable Firewall Client using scripting? Is there a way to determine if the firewall client is installed using scripting? Is there a way to determine if the firewall client is running using scripting? I'm trying to write a logoff script that disables the firewall client if it exists and is running and a logon scripts that enables the firewall client if it exists and is running? Any ideas?

Save this as IsaOn.reg :
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Firewall Client]
"Disable"=dword:00000000

Also save this as IsaOff.reg :

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Firewall Client]
"Disable"=dword:00000001

Then create this batch file IsaOnOff.cmd

@echo off
goto %1
:on
regedit /s IsaOn.reg
goto exit
:off
regedit /s IsaOff.reg
goto exit
:exit

You can call the batch file with a parameter (on or off) in a logon/logoff script. Regedit must be allowed to run on the user's workstation.
