Hello there, Please help. I am having problems accessing ftp sites from clients sitting behind the ISA 2000 server. I can access ftp sites from the ISA server itself. Further, inspecting from the traffic and destination reports in the ISA server it looks like that the packets get lost on their return path from the ftp sites. Thanks.

Hi kumlachew,

So, that means you have created IP packet filters. Correct?

Get rid of those IP packet filters and use a protocol rule to allow the FTP protocol and a site&content to allow the destination (FTP server).

For more info, check out http://www.isaserver.org/articles/How_the_FTP_protocol_Challenges_Firewall_Security.html .

HTH,
Stefaan
