Hi all!
I have a real multi-homed server (with 4 NIC's) with the following configuration:
NIC 1: Connected to Internet (Dedicated Connection)
NIC 2: Company's LAN
NIC 3: Company's client LAN
NIC 4: Fast Internet connection (3Com's ADSL modem/router)
These are my objectives:
1 - Make all incoming and outgoing SMTP traffic goes only through NIC1. This means that only my Exchange Server should respond to SMTP requests through NIC1;
2 - Make all client's HTTP outgoing and incoming traffic to go through NIC4.
3 - Make all company's computers to connect to our client's LAN without restriction.
So, what is the problem?... Well, as I have two Internet connections, both of them have a default gateway (NIC1 - Static IP address, NIC4 - DHCP/NAT Client), making the routing process on Win2000 an abortion! "[Frown]" ISA Server simply doesn't have a way to configure NAT or packet filters to make some computers to use a protocol through an specific external Interface and another group of computers to use another specific protocol through another external interface...
But I know that everithing is possible... So, does anybody knows how can I achieve this objective?.... "[Big
Thanx a lot!

Hi Rogerio,

You can only have a single exteranl interface on an ISA Server. If you want to Internet connections, you'll need two ISA Server.

HTH,
Tom

you could use multiple IP's on the external interface though & publish your internal stuff from those.
