we have a mac client behind isa. ie is running well with proxy settings, but outlook is not able to access/connect to internet mailserver. as the status line shows, that the request is going to my isa machine, but there must be a problem with the name-resolution. do i need special settings
for allowing mac clients pop/smtp. have already
insert rule with "all protocoll" specified for the single ip adress, but this doesn't help either. thx for help roland "[Confused]" "[Confused]" "[Confused]" "[Confused]" "[Confused]" "[Confused]" "[Confused]"

Hi Roland,

How are you Macs configured to resolve Internet host names?

Thanks!
Tom
