How can I configure ISA with 2 External IPs (eg 166.70.44.1 and 166.70.44.2) to allow clientA to use one IP and clientB to use the other IP to access the internet?

192.240.25.1 ----> 166.20.44.1
192.240.25.2 ----> 166.20.44.2

Thanks

Paul

Hi,

If you have 2 ISP you need to check RainConnect but the price is high so I suggest try using load balancing hardware like linksys router (http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?grid=34&scid=29&prid=589). It will make load balancing and auto failover.

Cheers,

HI Paul.
I see that the IP's you gave here are adjacent so they're probably from the same ISP, hence IAn's suggestion about rainconnect probabvly does not apply.

However, unfortuantely no, you cannot define userA uses IPa for outbound access and userB uses ipB. Be default ISA will always use the "default" IP on the NIC for all outbound traffic, although occassionally I've found it to use other IP's for outbound. (Not sure of the exact situations of why this happens though)
