Hello All

Many of the posted questions here and elsewhere regarding FTP/WEB/SMTP servers behind ISA. Somehow are related to port forwarding/mapping.

But as I understand one has to make some acrobatics to achieve/match the simplicity of port forwarding/mapping. By installing a proxy client on the destionation server or using SNAT or even reverse proxy. Clumsy but working.

E.G:
When using web publishing in Proxy 2.0 all log files on the destionation servers are USELESS because the Proxy 2.0 server appears as the client all the way. Big failure. Is this still a problem in ISA Server ???

My question:
Can ISA server do port forwarding/mapping ?

If not how does one then do it gracefully without corrupting the destination server log files?

Greetings
Olav Enomoto
