Hi,
i want to prevent users from downloading mp3 and avi files from sites like rapidshare.
you can see my access rules in the photo below. Users can still download mp3 files from rapidshare. What is missing?

Your tutorial helped me thank you. Another question:
How can i apply this blocking rule all users except me.i am putting to exceptions part my user but it doesnt work. isa server is installed on my computer. there is active directory . i am putting myselfy to 1. rule's (allowing rule and also blocking some contents) exceptions. thanks in advance.

Regarding your 2nd question, do you have a snapshot of the rules on your isa server, and point to me on which rule you had applied the settings from the article i have provided you with.

On the first rule i put myself to exceptions part on users tab of properties. i put myself as a windows user.

i see that you are using the all users condition and there is nothing in the exception part !

anyway, you can create 2 rules, one rule for your user and the other rule for your domain users group. and apply the restriction on the 2nd rule.

if you do not have ad domain , then you can create Computer/Computer Sets and the put it under the Source Network.

For example:

allow > protocols > from Computer Set 1 > To External > All Users

Allow with deny > Protocols >From Computer Set 2 > To External > All Users
