Hi, I'm trying to find a way to publish multiple Exchange servers so that each server has it's own outbound IP address. The same would probably apply if you had multiple SMTP connectors on the same mail server.

When you publish a mail server located on internal network, the outgoing messages are sent with the external IP of the firewall. When you have multiple mail servers / smtp connectors, the outgoing mail from all of them is coming out with the same IP address. These servers have different published incoming IP's to allow for correct mail routing. When the other party's mail server does a lookup, the IP address of the server from where the connection is coming does not correspond to the server MX record.

any suggestions on how to solve this - namely, to allow each server to have it's own outgoing IP? Or perhaps more generally, how to enable one-to-one NAT for published servers instead of many-to-one NAT?

any pointers would be appreciated.
